Amanda joined IMG Soccer Academy in 1997 after graduating from Ohio Northern University. Amanda has been the General Manager of the Bradenton Academics since 1999 and the Bradenton Athletics since their inaugural season in 2004.

Tom Durkin-Director IMG Soccer Academy/Head Coach Bradenton Academics

Tom joined the IMG Soccer Academy in 1998 and assumed the position of Director one year later. He has been the head coach of the Bradenton Academics since 1999. He oversees the coaching staff and directs all initiatives for player development. Along with his staff, he has designed a one-of-a-kind comprehensive system for long term soccer athlete development.

Bradenton Athletics Coaching Staff

Derek Leader- Asst. Director IMG Soccer Academy/Head Coach Bradenton Athletics

Derek joined IMG Soccer Academy in 1996 and was an assisnt coach with the PDL Bradenton Academics from 1997-2003. He is serving his fourth year as head coach of The Bradenton Athletics.

  • Youth player development at the prestigious Emerald Soccer Club
  • Assistant Coach at Ashland University (both the men and women)
  • State Clinician and Staff Coach for Ohio North Boy’s and Girl’s Olympic Development Programs (ODP)- Won U-16 Region II Championships
  • Instructed state licensing programs for Ohio-North
  • Member of Regional III (South) Girls ODP Staff since 1997 - Serves as the U-16 Head Coach
